Our Business Development Manager, Tia Goadby, recently joined this fabulous panel session that was part of a day of sessions to give tips, tricks and strategies from key industry experts to assist businesses during this unusual time. The audience included Event Management students, furloughed event professionals, venue employees as well as venue finders and event managers.

A word from Samantha Salisbury on the purpose of the Elevate Your Events Career events:

I organised Elevate Your Events Career as I know how badly the events industry has been affected by COVID-19. I know many event professionals who have been furloughed or had their hours and salary reduced or some who sadly have been made redundant. I really wanted to do something to help them so decided to organise an event that would give them tips, tricks and strategies from industry experts that you can implement now so that when lockdown is lifted and the events industry is back again they are ready. Now is the time to get those cvs updated, be active on social media and build those connections and I wanted the event to teach people how to do all of this.
